Manufacturer Warranty, Care and Maintenance For Design Shutters

“LIMITED" LIFETIME WARRANTY ON SHUTTERS 

⬧ Applies to the original buyer, non-transferable.

⬧ Proof of shutter purchase will be required.

⬧ Due to wood being a natural product, all shutters may have some imperfections. These

imperfections should not be visible while standing at a distance of four feet or more in natural

light.

⬧ A one-year no charge in-home repair from the date of installation, providing manufacturer

installed the shutters originally.

⬧ Inspection must reveal a factory defect. Accidents, alterations, misuse, acts of God, motorized

devices, wear and tear or failure to follow our instructions with respect to cleaning or

maintenance are not covered under this warranty.

⬧ It is the homeowner's responsibility for the return of the shutter to manufacturer for inspection

before a repair or replacement can occur once the one-year warranty expires.

⬧ If in-home shutter repair is needed after the first year of ownership, a service charge will apply.

⬧ This warranty excludes all liability for removal of the shutter and reinstallation in the same or

another window, or damage to the window frame, glass, or any other portion of the window.

⬧ All other warranties, both express and implied are expressly disclaimed. This warranty excludes

all liability for consequential or incidental damages for any cause whatsoever.

CUSTOM FINISH

⬧ Your custom finish on shutters is guaranteed for two years from the purchase date.

⬧ Normal fading, yellowing and abuse are not covered under this guarantee.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

⬧ Your custom shutters must be maintained as outlined below to ensure them looking new and beautiful.

⬧ Dust or vacuum shutters frequently. A lamb's wool duster is recommended.

⬧ Clean shutters occasionally with a damp sponge and dry thoroughly.

⬧ A light coat of high-grade furniture oil may be applied to smooth painted or stained shutters.

TRIP CHARGES

⬧ Applicable trip charges outside the metro area will be incurred for all shutter repairs that are not covered.
